Yes Yes Yes emerged as one of the world’s hottest stallion prospects with a record breaking win in today’s $14 million The Everest (1200m) at Randwick.

The only three-year-old in the field, Yes Yes Yes beat the finest line up of sprinters the world had to offer, sizzling to a track record breaking win in the world’s richest race on turf.

One of the last horses to gain a slot in the race, Yes Yes Yes did his stable proud bursting clear at the furlong marker and then holding out his rivals for a soft win at the post.

Big race jockey Glen Boss was almost lost for words after winning the rich dash – putting the “buzz” up there with his third straight Melbourne Cup win aboard champion mare Makybe Diva.

“I can’t believe what is going through my body right now,” Boss said moments after the win.

“The feeling is just so electric. Thanks to Chris Waller for putting his faith in me. There’s so many people to thank.”

“This beautiful colt here – what are you worth now champion,” Boss added while reaching down to pat Yes Yes Yes.

“He’s quality. Like I said when I galloped him last week he gave me goosebumps. I couldn’t believe the electric turn of foot he showed.”

Yes Yes Yes raced in the slot of Chris Waller Racing and the master horseman was thrilled with the track record breaking win.

“It was a big decision to make,” Waller said of selecting Yes Yes Yes for his slot. “You’ve got a big international stud (Coolmore) in the horse who have backed my judgement and also the owners of the horse backing my judgement and also the slot holders.”

“It was a big risk and a gamble so you’ve got to trust your horse and I trusted my system.”

“His run (when a close second) in the Golden Rose was pretty special,” Waller added. “And this shows he’s a very exciting colt going forward.”

When asked about the value of Yes Yes Yes following his Everest win, Waller cheekily answered – “he’s worth more than I am.”

Yes Yes Yes was purchased for connections by leading Queensland based bloodstock agent John Foote for $200,000 at last year’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. Following his win today the lightly raced Yes Yes Yes sent his earnings rocketing to over $7 million.

He was presented at the Gold Coast by respected New South Wales vendor Kitchwin Hills on behalf of breeder Brett Bradley from Arlington Park Racing.

The young sprint star is a son of Rubick, himself also a Gold Coast Yearling Sale purchase. He is from a Fantastic Light half sister to Hot as Hell. Yes Yes Yes is a half brother to the stakes performed mare Dee Nine Elle, yet another Magic Millions sold star.

The yearling half brother to Yes Yes Yes by leading sire Sebring will be one of the pin up lots of the 2020 Gold Coast Yearling Sale with confirmation the youngster will be offered in the draft of Kitchwin Hills.
